· 연구 주제: 본 연구의 목적은 중장년층이 재취업 과정에서 겪는 어려움을 규명하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 구체적인 논의를 제시하는 데 있다. · 연구 배경: 우리 사회 다수의 중장년층은 재취업을 시도하고 경험하지만, 재취업 과정에서 다양한 어려움에 직면하며 여전히 이에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. · 선행연구와의 차이점: 기존 중장년층 재취업과 관련된 다수의 연구가 주로 인적자본 및 노동시장 특성에 주목하였다면, 본 연구는 중장년층 재취업 과정상의 어려움에 주목하여 이를 구체적으로 유형화하였다. · 연구방법: 50세 이상 69세 이하 중장년층 875명을 대상으로 재취업 과정상의 영역별 어려움 요인을 분석하고, 잠재계층분석(LCA)과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. · 연구결과: 취업기회 제한형, 취업기회 안정형 및 정보 부족형의 세 유형이 도출되었으며, 각 도출된 유형별로 재취업 성과에 미치는 영향이 상이한 것으로 나타났다. · 공헌점 및 기대효과: 도출된 연구결과를 기반으로 중장년층 재취업 지원 방안을 마련함에 있어 실효성을 높일 수 있는 구체적인 정책 및 제도 개선 방향을 제언하였다.
Abstract
· Research topics: This study aims to identify the challenges faced by middle-aged and older adults in the reemployment process and to present specific discussions for addressing these challenges. · Research background: A significant number of middle-aged and older adults in our society attempt and experience reemployment, but they face various difficulties during the process. Despite this, research on this topic remains insufficient. · Differences from prior research: While many previous studies on the reemployment of middle-aged and older adults have primarily focused on human capital and labor market characteristics, this study specifically focuses on the difficulties encountered during the reemployment process and classifies these difficulties. · Research method: The study analyzed the difficulties in different areas of the reemployment process of 875 middle-aged and older adults aged 50 to 69. Latent Class Analysis (LCA) and logistic regression analysis were conducted. · Research results: Three latent classes of difficulties were identified: limited employment opportunities, stable employment opportunities, and lack of information. The impact on reemployment outcomes varied for each latent class. · Contribution points and expected effects: Based on the findings, the study suggests specific policy and institutional improvement directions to enhance the effectiveness of support measures for the reemployment of middle-aged and older adults.
