· 연구 주제: 미취학 자녀를 둔 여성을 대상으로 성역할 인식을 확인하고 실제 삶 속에서 부부간 양육 분담이 이루어지고 있는지에 관하여 심층적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. · 연구 배경: 1990년대 출생자는 성장기에 사회적 변화로 성역할 인식에 변화가 있었을 것으로 추정됨에 따라 그들의 삶에서 성역할이 어떻게 작용하고 있는지 살펴볼 필요가 있다. · 선행연구와의 차이점: 성역할 인식이 변화하고 있음을 제시하고 있는 이전 연구들을 기반으로 본 연구에서는 양육 분담을 중심으로 개인의 삶에서 성역할이 어떻게 적용되고 있는지 살펴보았다. · 연구방법: 미취학 자녀를 둔 여성 4명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 질적연구방법인 내러티브 탐구를 진행하였다. · 연구결과: 연구 참여자들의 성역할 관련 경험을 총 4가지(결혼 전 경험, 결혼 후 경험, 사회활동에서의 경험, 자녀 양육 경험)로 구분할 수 있었다. · 공헌점 및 기대효과: 여성의 삶을 중심으로 개인이 경험하는 양육의 이상과 현실 속에서 경험하는 어려움에 관한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
· Research topics: This study aimed to deeply explore the gender-role perceptions of women with preschool-aged children and to examine whether parenting responsibilities are actually shared between spouses in everyday life. · Research background: Since those born in the 1990s likely experienced changes in gender-role perceptions due to social shifts during their upbringing, it is necessary to examine how gender roles are playing out in their lives. · Differences from prior research: Based on prior research indicating that perceptions of gender roles are changing, this study examined how gender roles are applied in individuals’ lives, focusing specifically on the sharing of childcare responsibilities. · Research method: Four women with preschool-aged children were selected as study participants, and a qualitative research method—narrative inquiry—was conducted. · Research results: The participants’ gender-role related experiences were classified into four categories: premarital experiences, postmarital experiences, experiences in social activities, and child-rearing experiences. · Contribution points and expected effects: It is expected to serve as foundational data on the ideals and realities of parenting that individuals—particularly women—experience in their lives, and on the challenges they encounter.
