This study was discussed the problem to record and represent the socialist workers for half a century in 24City with the form of configuration of film. Jia Zhangke explained form of the film to regression of the language and characters, that’s criticism and introspection to manner of the narrative being mainstream. Workers’ dictation was configured to represent the structure of the contemporary representation in the film. On the other hand, characters were meant the overall image to be character cross oral narratives. The image of characters in film has been captured by a trail that is not subsumed into the category of configuration. Insertion of character images is a way to record the state of the evidence of the existence of nameless workers. The form that Jia Zhangke attempts in 24City is contained historicized vision simultaneously capturing memory about the past and the devastated landscape of post capitalism. In this sense, 24 City is the poetics of history about socialist labor in post capitalism.
