Abstract
In the past several decades, Marxism has lost influence in studies of class. There are two main streams in that field, one is Wright’s analytical Marxism and the other is Bourdieu’s class culture analyses. But both theories deny critical marxist theses and follow Weberian tradition. However Marxism is the most useful theory to explain the mechanism and class composition of capitalism, especially in neoliberal capital accumulation system. Following Marxism, this essay proposes class analyses in production relations, capital accumulation system and labor process.
