벤야민을 프랑크푸르트학파와 칼 마르크스(혹은 마르크스주의)라는 두 이론적 전통과 체계 내에서 논하기란 매우 어렵다. 그 까닭은 무엇보다도 그의 사상 기조가 이들 이론 전통과 결을 달리하기 때문이며, 더 나아가서는 그의 사상 자체의 미완결성도 한 몫 하기 때문이다. 다만 이 두 장애물을 일종의 핸디캡으로 보기 전에 지금껏수용사에서 지배적으로 관철된 이념의 프레임 뒤에 또 다른 형태로 존재했던 철학기획의 시도로 본다면, 벤야민의 독특한 마르크스 수용방식은 매우 유의미한 고찰일 수 있다. 본 연구는 『파사주』 프로젝트에서 본격적으로 가시화되는 비판기획을중심으로 벤야민의 독자적이고 실험적인 마르크스 독법을 재구성한다. 먼저 20세기 서구마르크스주의의 담론형세 속에서 벤야민의 위상을 조명해볼 것이다. 기술복제론 서두에서 등장하는 상부구조론에 대한 문제의식을 검토하고, 벤야민 특유의역사이론으로 알려진 꿈과 깨어나기에 청년 마르크스의 의식개혁 프로그램이 어떻게 편입되는지를 살펴볼 것이다. 그리고 상품물신성의 현상으로 마술환등 개념이 〉 19세기 수도 파리〈의 기획으로 자리 잡는 계기를, 마지막으로 비판모델 방법론의유물론적 성격을 규명해보고자 한다.
Abstract
Discussion on Benjamin within the 2 different theoretical traditions and systems of Frankfurt School and Karl Max(or, Marxism) is extremely difficult. That is because his thinking is differentiated from their theoretical tradition, and furthermore, the incompleteness of his work itself is a factor. However, the unique way that Benjamin embraced Marx can be very meaningful from the perspective of philosophical planning that exited in another form behind the ideological frame that remained dominant in the history of acceptance before considering those 2 obstacles as handicap. This study reconstructs Benjamin's independent and experimental method of Marx reading with a focus on critical planning that became fully tangible in the 『Passage』 project. Firstly, this study will examine Benjamin's status in the context of discourse of Western Marxism in the 20th century. This study will look into the critical mind for superstructural theory mentioned in the introductory part of 『Work of Art』 and consider how the consciousness reform program of young Marx was incorporated into the Dream and Awakening, known as the unique historical theory of Benjamin. Moreover, this study intends to consider the background that led the concept of magic lantern to take root in the form of the planning of <Paris, the capital of the 19th century> as phenomenon of commodity fetishism, and finally, examine the materialistic characteristics of critical model methodology.
