Abstract

The effect of channel mismatch errors on the performance of complex orthogonal space-time block codes is considered in this paper. The symbol error rate of the M-QAM constellation of a complex orthogonal space-time block code is derived. Derived results show that the channel mismatch errors destroy the orthogonality of complex orthogonal space-time block codes, and that resulting error floor is increased with the channel estimation error and the normalized doppler frequency.+
