초록

3차원 비디오 디스플레이는 기존의 2차원 TV의 뒤를 이을 차세대 멀티미디어 정보 단말기의 중심 기술로서 최근 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 연구되고 있는 3차원 입체 영상 디스플레이 기술들 중 실시간 3차원 비디오 영상의 디스플레이가 가능한 다시점 양안 시차 방식 3차원 디스플레이, 체적형 3차원 디스플레이, 홀로그래픽 3차원 디스플레이 기술들을 개관하고 그 기술적 특성을 비교 분석한다. 또한, 3차원 영상 정보의 획득 및 처리를 위한 기술 들을 살펴보며, 3차원 정보의 획득, 처리 및 3차원 영상으로의 재생을 포괄하는 3차원 비디오 디스플레이 시스템의 예 로서 집적영상 기술을 이용한 3차원 비디오 디스플레이 시스템을 설명한다.

Abstract

Three-dimensional display attracts much attention for its potential as a next-generation information terminal. In this paper, we introduce and discuss various three-dimensional display techniques concentrating on autostereoscopic display system based on integral imaging that obtains and processes three-dimensional information and displays it as a three-dimensional image.
