Abstract
Recently, OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Miltiplexing) is attracting lots of interest in mobile and wireless system, where efficient radio resource managements are necessary for cellular applications. This paper proposes an efficient frequency reuse scheme whish logically divides a cell area into two service regions; inner and outer cells, then, adopts different frequency reuse factors for different regions.Given a minimum QoS (Quality of Service), it is through intensive system level simulations that the proposed scheme achieves a better performance than a general single frequency reuse scheme. Also, three methods are suggested to determine the boundary between inner and outer cells, and their performance are quantitavely investigated.
