부모의 외도를 경험한 청소년 특성에 대한 질적 연구

본 연구는 사이버 상담 게시판에 부모의 갈등을 호소한 사례 중 특히 부모의 외도 문제를 호소한 청소년의 사례를 질적으로 분석함으로써 부모의 외도가 청소년의 인지, 정서, 행동 및 대인관계 영역에서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 구체적으로 살펴보고 청소년의 교육 및 상담에 도움이 되는 자료를 제공하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 사이버 상담 게시판 사례 중 부모의 외도 문제를 경험하고 어려움을 호소하는 청소년 24사례를 CQR로 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 청소년이 지각하는 외도의 원인은 가족이 소원해 지거나, 엄마의 정서적 외로움, 불성실한 아버지의 태도, 경제적인 어려움 등이 보고되었다. 즉 부모의 외도경험이 있는 청소년들은 가정을 가부장적이거나 소원하다고 지각하였다. 둘째, 부모의 외도가 청소년에게 미치는 영향은 인지적 혼란과 정서적으로 강한 우울과 분노, 두려움과 수치심이 나타났다. 마지막으로 청소년들이 부모의 외도문제와 관련하여 사이버 상담에 기대하는 바는 자신이 경험하고 있는 문제에 대한 구체적인 해결방안에 대한 탐색이었으며, 사이버상담을 찾는 이유로는 비밀보장이 중요한 요인이었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한점과 시사점이 논의 되었다.
Abstract
The current study was conducted in order to concretely examine what effects parents' extramarital affairs have on the areas of adolescents' cognition, emotions, behaviors and interpersonal relations and to provide data helpful to their education and counseling by qualitatively analyzing juvenile cases of complaining of parents' extramarital affair problems in particular among cases of complaining of parental conflicts on the cyber counseling bulletin board. For this we analyzed with CQR 24 juvenile cases of complaining of difficult situations after experiencing parents' extramarital affair problems out of the cases of the cyber counseling bulletin board. The results of the study indicate that first, the reasons of the extramarital affairs adolescents perceive include family becoming estranged, mothers' emotional loneliness, fathers' untrustworthy attitudes, financial hardships etc. Namely, adolescents who had parents with extramarital affairs recognized mentioned that family was patriarchal or became alienated. Second, it found that the effects of parents' extramarital affairs on adolescents involve cognitive confusion, emotionally strong gloominess, fury, fear and a sense of shame. Finally, what the adolescents expected from cyber counseling was to explore concrete solutions to the problems they were experiencing in relation to parents' extramarital affair problems, and the main reason that they visit cyber counseling was that privacy protection was assured. Limitations and implications of the present study were discussed based on these findings.
