본 연구는 청소년의 부모애착이 또래관계에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 우울증상과 갈등해결전략의 매개효과 를 가정하고 이를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울에 위치한 중학교에 재학 중인 청소년 324명이 었으며, 부모애착 척도(Inventory of Parents and Peer Attachment: IPPA-R), 우울증상 척도(The Center for Epidemiological StudIes-Depression Scale: CES-D), 갈등해결전략 척도(The Conflict Resolution Measure: Friends, Parents, Co-workers: CRM;FPC), 또래관계 척도(Index of Peer Relations: IPR)를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석 결과, 청소년 애착의 하위 유형 중 의사소통과 신뢰 감은 또래관계 및 협력형 갈등해결전략과 유의미한 정적상관이 있었고, 우울증상 및 공격형 갈등해결전략 과는 유의미한 부적상관이 있었다. 그리고 회피형 갈등해결전략은 부모애착의 하위 유형 중 소외감하고만 유의미한 정적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 청소년의 부모애착이 또래관계에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 우울증상과 갈등해결전략의 매개효과를 알아본 결과, 우울증상과 갈등해결전략은 각각 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언에 대하여 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study examined the mediating effects of depression and conflict-resolving strategies on the relationship between parent attachment and peer relationship among adolescents. 324 middle school students participated in this study. The Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression Scale(CES-D), Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment(IPPA-R), The Conflict Resolution Measure: Friends, Parents, Co-workers(CRM:FPC), Index of Peer Relations(IPR) were administered to the participants. The results were as follows: First, the communication and trust subtypes of parent attachment scores were positively correlated with adolescents' peer relationship and the cooperate type of conflict-resolving strategies scores, while they were negatively correlated with depression and the aggressive type of conflict-resolving strategies scores. Second, the avoidant type of conflict-resolving strategies scores was positively correlated with the alienation subtype of parent attachment scores. Third, depression and conflict-resolving strategies partially mediated the relationship between adolescents' parent attachment and their peer relationship. The implications and the limitations of the current study were discussed.
