초록

본 연구에서는 여고생의 완벽주의가 폭식행동에 미치는 영향에서 분노표현방식의 매개효과를 규명하였다. 이를 위하여 서울 소재 세 곳의 고등학교 1, 2학년에 재학 중인 여자 고등학생 495명을 대상으로, 다차원적 완벽주의 척도(MPS), 신경성 폭식증 검사 개정판(BULIT-R), 한국판 청소년 상태-특성 분노표현 척도(STAXI-K)를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 여고생의 사회 부과적 완벽주의는 부적응적인 분노표현방식인 분노표출과 분노억제를 부분매개로 하여 폭식행동을 유의하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 중요한 타인이 자신에게 부과하였다고 믿는 비현실적인 기준을 달성하기 위해 자신을 엄격하게 평가하고 완벽해지도록 기대하는 여고생들은 분노를 경험했을 때 분노를 표출하거나 억제하는 부적응적인 방식으로 표현함으로써 폭식행동을 더 심하게 나타낼 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of anger expression type on the relationships between perfectionism and binge eating behavior of female high school students. The subjects of this study were 495 female high school students in grades 1 through 2 in Seoul. They were assessed by the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale(MPS), the Bulimia Test Revised(BULIT-R) and the State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory(STAXI-K). The results showed that anger-out and anger-in had partial mediating effects on the relationships between female high school students' socially prescribed perfectionism and binge eating behavior. This study was confirmed the partial mediating effects of anger expression type on the relationships between female high school students’socially prescribed perfectionism and binge eating behavior.
