청소년의 부모화 및 과보호 경험이 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향: 정서조절양식의 매개효과

본 논문은 부모화와 과보호된 자녀들의 문제가 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고정서조절양식이 이러한 영향력의 관계에 매개하는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울및 경기도에 소재한 5개의 중학교 2~3학년, 고등학교 1~2학년 남녀학생 504명의 설문결과를 바탕으로 회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 중다회귀분석을 통해 부모화와 과보호, 회피-분산적 정서조절양식이 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향을확인하였다. 그 결과 회피-분산적 정서조절양식의 영향력이 가장 컸으며 과보호, 부모화순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 부모화와 대인관계 문제의 관계에서 회피-분산적 정서조절양식이 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 과보호와 대인관계 문제의 관계에서 회피-분산적 정서조절양식이 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 대인관계 문제를 감소시키기 위한 상담적 개입방법을 부모화와과보호, 정서조절양식의 측면에서 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study explored the influence of adolescent’s perceived parentification and overprotectivenss on their interpersonal problems. In particular, adolescent’s emotional regulation style was assumed to mediate the influence of the parentification and overprotectivenss on their interpersonal problems. A survey was conducted for 504 students in the five middle and high schools. A series of multiple regression was conducted to identify the effects of parentification, overprotectiveness, emotional regulation style on interpersonal problem. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, it was found that avoidant-distractive emotional regulation style, overprotectiveness, and parentification had significant influences on interpersonal relationships in the listed order. Second, avoidant-distractive emotional regulation style partially mediated the relations between parentification and interpersonal problem. Finally, in terms of the relations between overprotective and interpersonal problem, avoidant-distractive emotional regulation style had mediating effects. Based on the findings above, the study suggests that counseling intervention should be required for adolescents in terms of regulating their emotions and dealing with problems.
