우리의 일상은 네트워크와 빠르게 변화하는 시대의 조류에 따라 언제 어디서나 접속이 가능한 유비쿼터스 환경에 있으며, 이는 특정한 경계의 영역을 넘나들며 확실성 보다는 다원적이고 복잡한 노매딕 사회로 전환되고 있음을 보여준다 이에 본 연구는 기존의 노마드에 관한 ‘정주하지 않고 유목을 하며 이동생활을 하는 민족’이라는 의미와 특성 분석을 토대로 가치와 방식에 구속되지 않고 변화를 추구하며 능동적으로 수용하는 그들의 주된 강점인 ‘유목’에 관하여 복합적, 가변적 유연적 요소로 나누어 현시대에 파생된 ‘디지털 노마드’를 연구, 분석하여 새로운 공간을 창출해 보고자 한다. 이에 노매딕 스케이프는 서로 다른 성격의 공간의 역할이 한 객체에서 통합의 과정을 거치며 주변의 공공영역과 어우러질 수 있는 장소에 관한 타당성을 제시하였다.
Abstract
As our daily lives lie in a 'ubiquitous' environment where it is possible to get access to the network no matter where and when, we know that our society turns in a 'nomadic' one which is multi-dimensional and complex rather than certain while transcending specific boundaries. This study aims to examine and analyse the so-called "digital nomad" so as to create new space by presenting the notion of "generative movement" that creates a new field about the "nomad" that seeks for change and interprets it actively instead of staying comfortably in their values and conventions, while being based upon the conventional meaning and characteristic analysis of an ethnic group who lives on a nomadic way of life instead of settling down. By applying to the notion of public space the structural system and the characteristics of space and boundary depending upon the nomadic style and the settlement style respectively,
