This paper discusses Chinese language education for nonnative speakers(L2) and analyzes its evaluation test method called BCT(Business Chinese Test). BCT is a practical Chinese language test equivalent to TOEIC(Test of English for International Communication) in English. It is a Chinese-government certified test developed in affiliation with Beijing University. It certainly made a great quality improvement from its predecessor, HSK. (Or It is not simply a revised version of its predecessor, HSK but definitely a much improved version.) Its importance also lies in the fact that it meets the current need for a practical Chinese evaluation system in this multicultural international community.
