예비교사들의 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육 방법에 대한 인식 유형 분석

본 연구는 교육대학교 재학 중인 예비교사들의 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육 방법에 대한 생각을 탐색하는 것이다. 예비교사들이 생각하는 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육 방법에 대한 인식 유형을 분류하고 각 유형의 특징들을 분석하였다. 연구방법은 개개인의 주관적 인식을 탐색하기 위하여 Q 연구방법론을 적용하였다. 통계처리는 QUANL 1.2 프로그램을 이용하였다. 해석 결과, 예비교사들이 인식하는 초등학교 컴퓨터 방법은 다음의 다섯 가지 유형으로 분류되었다. <유형 1>은 ‘초등 학습자에 적합한 교육’, <유형 2>는 ‘교사의 전문성 중심 교육’, <유형 3>은 ‘다른 교과와 융합 교육’, <유형 4>는 ‘학습자 주도의 교육’, <유형 5>는 ‘컴퓨터 기초 내용에 충실한 교육’이다. <유형 1>은 아동들이 쉽게 이해하고, 재미있게 하는 교육을 중요하게 생각한다. 학습자 수준을 고려한 교육을 추구한다. <유형 2>는 컴퓨터 전문 지식이 있는 컴퓨터 교과 전담 교사가 가르치는 것이 바람직하다고 생각한다. <유형 3> 컴퓨터와 다른 교과 내용과의 융합 교육을 중요하게 생각한다. <유형 4>는 학습자 주도의 컴퓨터 교육을 통하여 문제해결력과 비판적 사고력 그리고 정의적인 교육을 중요하게 생각한다. <유형 5>는 컴퓨터 기초 내용에 충실한 교육을 중요하게 생각한다. 그리고 컴퓨터 과학의 기본적인 원리를 기반으로 다양한 문제해결 중심의 교육과 이론 중심의 교육을 중요하게 생각한다.
Abstract
This study is to explore the thoughts of pre-service teachers attending the teacher’s collage about computer education methods in elementary schools. The research categorizes and examines the types of pre-service teachers' perceptions and scrutinizes the attributes of each classification. The Q research methodology was applied to explore individual subjective perceptions. The QUANL 1.2 program was utilized for statistical analysis. The outcome of the research resulted in categorizing the perceptions type of pre-service teachers into the following five types. <Type 1> is ‘education appropriate for primary learners’, <Type 2> is ‘professional-oriented education of teachers’, <Type 3> is ‘integrated education with other subjects’, <Type 4> is ‘Self-directed education’, and <Type 5> is ‘education loyal to basic computer content’. <Type 1> places importance on education that children can easily comprehend and enjoy. They pursue education that takes into account the learner's level, <Type 2> believes in teaching through the expertise of a computer teacher. <Type 3> emphasizes on integrated education between various subjects including computer and other subject contents. <Type 4> finds it crucial to improve problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and affective education through self-directed learning. <Type 5> places importance on education that remains loyal to the basic contents of computers. and they think problem-solving education based on the basic principles and theoretical education is important.
