초록
Epidermal cyst is a benign cyst filled with keratin fibers, and its wall has nearly the same characteristics as the epi-dermis. It is commonly seen in the skin and has the tendency to slowly grow toward deeper epidermis parts and to cause cystic expansion. One of the most frequent causes of epidermal inclusion cysts is trauma involving the epi-dermis with subsequent implantation of epidermal cells into the dermis or subcutis. Epidermal cyst formation fol-lowing ear surgery was reported in a few cases around the world. Therefore, we present the case report of epider-mal cyst formation following ear surgery.
