Eosinophilic mucin rhinosinusitis (EMRS) is a subtype of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps, characterized by eo- sinophilic allergic mucin produced through type 2 inflammation without fungal detection. Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is a condition characterized by type 2 inflammation, continually leading to mucoid impaction in the lower airways, due to hypersensitivity reactions to inhaled Aspergillus fumigatus. Certain patients with EMRS or ABPA experience relapsing disease despite undergoing maximal treatment due to uncontrolled type 2 inflammation. The authors report and review a case of concomitant occurrence of EMRS and ABPA managed with dupilumab. This case illustrates the potential utility of dupilumab for a broader range of conditions.
