초록

Sensorineural hearing loss often occurs due to sudden acoustic trauma. In such cases, it is classified as temporary threshold shift or permanent threshold shift (PTS) depending on the duration of hearing loss. High-dose steroids or intratympanic steroid injection are administered, as in sudden sensorineural hearing loss to prevent progression to PTS and to restore hearing. However, in cases where dizziness also occurs, the possibility of perilymphatic fistula (PLF) should be considered, and surgical treatment should be contemplated. Here, we present two cases of suspected PLF caused by acoustic trauma that were successfully treated with surgical repair.
