대학생의 일상적 창의성과 창의적 가정환경의 관계

이 연구는 대학생들의 아이디어 생성 능력과 다양한 영역(일상, 학문, 예술)에서 나타나는 창의적 행동이 창의적 가정환경의 수준에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지를 분석하였다. 연구대상으로 서울과 충청지역의 대학생 203명이 연구에 참여하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 기술통계치 분석 결과, 창의성의 하위 지표 중 학문 창의성의 평균점수가 가장 낮았고 일상 창의성의 평균점수가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 상관분석 결과, 창의적 가정환경 요소 중 물리적 환경이 모든 창의성 지표와 유의한 상관이 나타났으며, 지적 자극과 정서적 지지 요소는 상대적으로 낮은 상관을 보여주었다. 셋째, 창의적 가정환경을 하위 요소별로 상집단, 하집단으로 구분하여 t-test를 실시한 결과, 물리적 환경 수준에 따라서 창의성의 모든 지표에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 넷째, 다중회귀분석을 통해 창의성에 대한 창의적 가정환경의 하위 요소의 상대적인 예측력을 분석한 결과, 창의성의 모든 하위지표를 예측해주는 환경 변인은 물리적/문화적 환경인 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 기반으로 창의적 가정환경에의 개입에 대한 시사점이 제시되었다.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze how college students' ability to generate ideas and creative behaviors in various areas (daily life, academics, and arts) vary according to the level of the creative home environment. A total of 203 college students in Seoul and Chungcheong regions participated in the study. To summarize the results, first, the average score of academic creativity was the lowest among the sub-indicators of creativity and the average score of daily creativity was the highest. Second, as a result of correlation analysis, among the factors of the creative home environment, the physical environment had a significant correlation with all creativity indicators, and the intellectual stimulus and emotional support factors showed a relatively low correlation. Third, the result of t-test indicated that there was a significant difference in all indicators of creativity according to the level of the physical environment. Fourth, as a result of multiple regression analysis, it was found that the environmental variable that predicts all sub-indicators of creativity was the physical/cultural environment. Based on the findings, implications for the intervention in creative family environment were discussed.
