대학 글쓰기 수정 교육에 관한 수업 모형 연구

본고는 대학생 60명을 실험 집단과 통제 집단으로 나누어 개인별 수정과 협력 수정의 2단계로 구성된 수업 모형을 토대로 실험하였다. 수정본의 모든 수정 양상들을 범주화하기 위해 Kay Butler－Nalin의 범주화 방식을 변용하여 표면(Surface：어휘), 하위 수준(구(句), 절) 상위수준(문장)으로 범주를 설정했다. 3개의 범주에 따라 수정 양상을 분석하여 총 8개의 수정 방법을 설정, 평가하였다. 개인별 수정에 관한 실험 결과는 ‘상’ 수준에 있는 학생들이 ‘중’이나 ‘하’ 수준의 학생들에 비해 텍스트 전체의 의미를 변화시키는 ‘첨가’나 ‘삭제’의 방법을 많이 사용하는 반면, ‘중’이나 ‘하’의 학생들은 ‘유지’, ‘분리’, ‘접합’과 같은 의미를 변화시키지 않고 기존 문장을 고르게 활용하는 방법을 상대적으로 많이 사용했다. 이러한 결과는 수정자가 기존 텍스트에 대한 분석을 얼마나 잘 하는가, 그리고 문장들의 결함을 인식하고 해결하는 수준이 어느 정도인가와 연관성이 있는 것으로 보인다. 협력 수정에 관한 실험의 경우 실험 집단과 통제 집단 모두에서 ‘첨가’, ‘대체’, ‘삭제’를 사용한 횟수가 비교적 고른 결과가 나왔는데 이를 통해 수준이 상이한 학습자들로 구성된 모둠에서 이루어지는 협력 수정이 구성원들에게 매우 긍정적인 교육 효과를 거둘 수 있다는 결론이 가능하다. 즉 협력 수정을 함으로써 모둠 내 상대적으로 낮은 수준의 학습자들은 보다 높은 수준의 과제 수행을 경험하고 이것이 반복될 경우 자신의 수정 능력을 높이게 될 가능성이 높아진다고 예상할 수 있다. 본고의 실험 결과는 대학생들에게 어떻게 수정에 관해 교육할 것인지 그리고 그에 따른 수업모형을 어떻게 설계할 것인지에 대해 어느 정도 방향을 제시할 수 있다고 본다. 또한 보다 효율적인 수정 교육을 위해서는 학습자들에게 텍스트에 대한 이해도와 분석 능력을 향상시키고 이를 수정에 적용할 수 있는 실제적 방법을 고려해야 한다.
Abstract
This paper analyze about the aspect of college students' revision upon the experiment design of individual revision course and collaborative revision. This experiment result show matters to be attended to teaching revision and what are important things about planning for teaching revision. Revision capacity of college student have high possibility originated in the difference of comprehension and analysing capacity about text based on analysing about different appearances of students classified according to writing capacity-upper, medium, low stage. Revision through colla- borative learning is useful method for elevation of revision capacity based on result of the experiment. It can be have substantial effect on teaching revision through complex course of individual learning and collaborative learning along with it must be have regard for elevation plan for capacity of comprehension and analysing text.
