Abstract

This study analyzed factors affecting self-esteem among women with disabilities to identify effective social work interventions to enhance self-esteem of women with disabilities. Data were obtained from 481 women with disabilities from the first wave(2006) of Korea Welfare Panel Study. Multiple regression analyses results show that education, perceived health status, satisfaction with family relations, and satisfaction with social relations were associated with self-esteem of women with disabilities. Implications of the findings for practice and research are discussed.
