공직선거법은 인터넷언론의 선거보도에 관한 규정을 성문화하고 인터넷선거보도심의위원회를 통해 인터넷언론의 선거보도를 심의하도록 하고 있다. 공직선거법이 규정하는 인터넷언론의 범주에 포함되는 포털이 인터넷 시대의 저널리즘 환경에서 차지하는 영향력은 크게 증대했으며, 이에 따라 포털이 선거 시기에 미칠 영향력도 커지고 있다. 본 논문은 인터넷선거보도심의위원회의 선거보도 심의 결과 자료를 분석하여 포털의 선거보도의 문제점을 도출하고 개선점을 제시하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 제17대 대선과 제18대 총선을 사례로 연구하였다.
Abstract
The Election Law codified the rules of election report of online media. The Internet Election News Deliberation Commission(IENDC) deliberates the election news of online media. The portal sites as online media are applied by the Election Law. The Importance of the portal sites is being emphasized in the era of online journalism and so the influence on the election during the campaign is also increasing. Analyzing the deliberation results of IENDC, this study was aimed to find the problems of election news of portal sites and suggest the solution. The study is based on the cases of the 17th presidential election and the 18th parliamentary election.
