제조업체의 물류활동요인과 물류성과 간의 관련성에 관한 연구 - 조립금속, 기계 및 장비제조업체를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 조립금속, 기계 및 장비제품을 생산하는 제조업체들의 물류성과에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 물류활동요인들의 도출과 그 관련성을 규명하기 위한 실증적 분석에 초점을 두고 있다. 52개의 제조업체들로부터 수집된 자료분석을 통해 물류운영요인과 물류설비요인, 그리고 물류기술요인이라는 3개의 요인을 추출하였고, 다중회귀분석을 통해 물류성과변수(매출액 대비 물류비 비율, 고객서비스 지수)와의 관련성을 규명하였다. 기업의 물류성과는 경영환경하에서의 물류활동에 의해 설명되고 있지만, 기업의 환경요인과 내부능력 간의 관계도 고려되어 설명되어야 할 것으로 본다.
Abstract
Recently, many problems of logistics in the manufacturing firms began to examine alternative perspectives on logistics management. Some issues that have been addressed, include the classification of logistics activities into stages of deployment based on the number of activities managed, the methods of performance evaluation as a means of interesting logistics activities into overall corporate strategy. The purpose of this study was conducted to ascertain whether logistics activities could be empirically identified by logistics activity factors and it could affect performances of the manufacturing firms. From the data obtained, the results of this empirical research were identified as follows. First, the logistics activity variables were classified with importance on the variable of logistics factor into three types: 1) operation factor, 2) facility factor, 3) technology factor. Second, the relationship between the logistics activity factors and the logistics performances within firms was analyzed by the multiple regression analysis. These logistics activity factors did show the significant differences in two performances index(ratio of logistics cost and customer service index). This indicated that logistics performances of firms was explained by their logistics activities in the business environments and competences. However, this research had several limitations in a methodology and scope. First of all, it did not take into consideration the environments factors of the firms on logistics activities and the internal capability among the manufacturing firms. Finally, many researches on logistics activity and performance must become increasingly interdisciplinary to keep up with business practices and environments.
