본 연구는 기업규모에 따라 소유구조와 인적자원이 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 연구표본은 상장기업을 대상으로 2010년부터 2016년까지이며, 표본수는 10,938개로 회귀분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외국인주주지분율과 교육훈련비의 상호작용효과는 경영성과에 양의 영향을 미치고 있으며, 둘째, 복리후생비가 경영성과에 음의 영향을 미치고 있으나, 소유구조(외국인주주지분율과 대주주지분율)와의 교육훈련비 및 복리후생비의 상호작용효과를 보면 경영성과에 양의 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 대기업보다는 중소기업에서 교육훈련비와 복리후생비의 효과가 경영성과에 더 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 공헌점은 소유구조에 따라 인적자원투자가 경영성과에 미치는 영향과 기업규모로 구분하여 살펴봄으로써, 불확실한 미래에 인적자원에 대한 투자로 인하여 향후 경제적인 효익에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 검증함으로써 유용한 정보를 제공하고 있다.
Abstract
This study investigated the effect of human resources investment on firm performance according the ownership structure. The sample was from 2010 to 2016(10,938 companies) and analyzed for listed companies. The results of the study were as follows. First, the interaction effect between foreign shareholder and education and training expense had a positive effect on firm performance. Second, welfare cost had a negative effect on performance. However, the interaction effects between ownership structure (foreign shareholder ratio and major shareholder ratio) and education and welfare expenses had a positive effect on firm performance. Third, the effects of education and training expenses and welfare cost were more influential on business performance than SMEs. The contribution of this study is to examine the effect of human resources investment on the performance according to ownership structure. And the effect of human resources investment on performance by dividing the firm size. In this way, companies are analyzing their impact on future economic benefits by investing their human resources in an uncertain future, providing useful information.
