인간영웅 중심의 루마니아 설화 인물 분석- 근현대문학에서의 잔존과 위장 양상을 겸하여

루마니아 설화는 고대 건국신화에서 시작해서 크리스트교가 도래한 후에 성경의 내용과 정교의 전통과 결합하는 양상을 보였고, 설화에 등장하는 주인공은 나라를 정복하려는 적군에게 무릎 꿇지 않고 본인의 정체성을 지키려 애썼다. 루마니아 설화의 여성 주인공인 도키아와 왕과 누군가의 셋째 딸은 남성이 겪는 모험이나 여정을 똑같이 겪는다. 그 과정에서 자신의 실수나 잘못을 바로잡고 지혜를 발휘해 곤경에서 벗어나면서 본인의 운명을 개척해가는 주체적인 여성 영웅의 면모를 보여준다. 설화의 전형적인 여자 주인공인 슨지아나는 용에게 납치되어 퍼트 프루모스를 기다리는 수동적인 여성상을 보여주기도 한다. 설화는 시대적 영향으로 잔존과 위장이라는 양상을 띠며 부정적 평가의 변질과 긍정적 평가의 변화를 보여주었다. 도키아는 루마니아가 공산화된 후 루마니아 민족이 로마 민족의 후예임이 강조되면서 이룰 수 없는 사랑의 불행한 여인으로 전락하였다. 주인공의 일상과 여정을 방해하는 인물은 주로 심술궂고 늙고 추한 여인 또는 주인공의 부모로 주인공의 생활반경 가깝게 위치한다. 조력자는 현실에서 떨어진 숲속에서 사는 성녀로서 주인공이 고난과 역경을 이겨낼 자격이 확인되면 그의 여정을 도와주는 양상을 띤다. 부모가 딸의 결혼 생활을 방해하는 양상을 띤다면, 남편은 아내가 혼자서 성숙하고 독립적인 여인으로 성장하는 계기를 제공하는 조력자 역할을 담당한다. 부모의 수고와 눈물, 기도로 태어난 남성 주인공 퍼트 프루모스는 나라를 치리할 왕으로 성장하기 위해서 수동적인 태도와 제한적인 환경을 벗어나 용감하고 지혜로운 왕으로 성장하거나 영원한 삶을 꿈꾸었던 어리석음을 깨닫기도 한다. 루마니아 사람에게 퍼트 프루모스는 잊힌 시대를 회상시키고 민족의 고유한 정신문화를 일깨우게 하는 매개체로 평가받고 있다. 용감한 셋째 왕자 프르슬레아아와 평민의 아들 페펠레아, 그레우체아누의 여정 또한 그러하다.
Abstract
Romanian folk tales had started from founding nation stories and interwoven the contents of the Bible after the arrival of the Christianity and the heroes strived not to surrender to the conquering enemies and maintain his identity. Dochia, the heroine of the Romanian tale,, and the third daughter of king’s or somebody’s experienced the same adventures of heroes’s She displayed the heroic feature by righting her own errors and overcoming the adversities and making her own way with wisdom. The typical heroines, Sânzianas, was depicted as passive characters who was captured by dragon and waiting for the rescue of Făt-Frumos. This tale indicated the transition of the negative evaluation and the change of the positive evaluation. Dochia had been degraded into the miserable woman of impossible love due to the emphasis on the Romanian nation's connection with the Romans after the communist Romania. The antagonists are mainly old grumpy hag or the parents of the heroine who live in her neighborhood. A saint woman who lives in remote place helps the heroine after verifying her characters. The parents hinder her marriage life, but the husband helps her to be independent and mature. The hero, Făt-Frumos, who was born in the tears and pains of his parents, overcomes the passive attitude and troubles and becomes the wise king or recognize his foolishness. To Rumanian people Făt-Frumos is the vehicle of remembering the forgotten eras and awakening the traditional culture. The journey of the brave Prâslea who is third prince, Pepelea who is the son of the commoner, Greuceanu is similar.
