해방기 김기림의 시에 나타난 자의식

Abstract

At the Era of Independence, Kim Gi-rim was endeavoring to reduce the gap between literature and reality in line with his literature theory. In time, his achievement was outstandingly different from that in the colonial period. He was active in establishing the foundation of ethnic literature associating with writers with totally different ideas, which reflects his decision before the national liberation to narrow the gap between his literature theory and reality, and to fulfill his responsibility as an intellectual in the historical background. His self-consciousness was exposed through his poems written at the time. The poems and behaviors Kim Gi-rim showed at the time of the national liberation were the result of his actively practicing of literature ideas. Seemingly, his acts are in conflict with the former views, but in fact, his interest in the people consistently maintained. In the time when political logic was prevalent, he devoted himself to establishing the foundation of ethnic literature in the ‘literature perspective,’ but his efforts ended in smoke due to the change in the political situation. During the Korean War, he was kidnapped to the north, which became a bad example in that political needs oppressed literature beliefs. More unfortunately, his modernism literature that had been reserved until the national liberation could not proceed in the full scale.
