이 연구는 산악형 국립공원의 방문자수를 설명하는 변수인 여행비용 중에 교통비용에 주목하였으며, 교통비용의 큰 부분을 차지하는 유가가 산악형 국립공원의 방문자수에 영향을 미치는지와 영향을 미치는 경우에 크기와 지속기간을 파악하였다. 유가는 우리나라 산악형 국립공원의 방문자수에 영향을 미치며, 그 정도는 비탄력적이다. 유가가 국립공원의 방문자수에 미치는 영향은 일인당 국민총소득이 국립공원의 방문자수에 미치는 영향보다 크다. 이와 같이 유가는 산악형 국립공원 방문자수에 영향을 미치지만 유가의 변동이 산악형 국립공원 방문자수 변화의 원인으로 작용하지는 않았다. 그리고 유가의 변동이 산악형 국립공원 방문자수의 변화에 미치는 영향은 약 3〜4년이 지나면 거의 사라진다.
Abstract
This study paid attention to travel cost among the variables explaining visitor number. Oil price has big portion of travel cost. So we analyzed whether oil price has impact on visitor number. And if oil price has impact on visitor number, the degree and duration of the impact on visitor number were examined. Oil price had impact on visitor number of national park in Korea. The degree of the impact was inelastic. The elasticity of oil price on visitor number was larger than that of income. Although oil price had impact on visitor number of national park, it did not cause the change in visitor number. And the impact of oil price on visitor number disappeared after three or four years.
