산림경험이 초등학생의 분노에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 산림경험이 학교폭력의 중요 변인 중 하나인 분노에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 이뤄졌다. 2012년 5월부터 8월까지 주 1회씩 총 12회의 프로그램을 지역아동센터 주변 숲에서 실시하였다. 청주시 지역아동센터 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 초등학생 60여명을 대상으로 사전 설계와 사후 설계에 의해 자료가 수집되었다. 그 결과 숲에서의 활동에 참여한 실험집단 아동들의 분노가 통계적으로 유의미하게 감소하였다. 따라서 초등학생의 산림경험은 학교폭력의 변인중 하나인 분노를 감소시켜, 학교폭력을 줄이는데 일조 할 것으로 기대 된다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the influence of the forest experience on the level of anger in students. For this study, 60 elementary students from After School Child care Centers located in Cheonnju City, were sampled. From May to August of 2012, once a seek for a total of twelve weeks, the children participated in the program which was held in a forest near the After School Child care Center. We compared the variations in the anger levels in students, pre-program and post-program. The results of the analysis revealed that the study participants showed greater reductions in anger levels compared to those in the control group. Therefore, the experience of forest will help decrease school violence by reducing anger, which is a factor that causes school violence.
