초록

The main purpose of this study was to determine what factors affect LST. To accomplish this research purpose, I selected Mt. Uam and its surrounding area in Cheongju City, Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea as the study area and collected Landsat 8 data and DEM data for this area. First, LST, NDVI, NDBI, and NDWI were calculated using Landsat 8 data. Elevation value and Aspect value were extracted by using DEM data. Simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were performed to investigate the effects of NDVI, NDBI, NDWI, Elevation, and Aspect on LST. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that all variables included in the regression model affected LST. Especially, NDBI and Elevation have a strong influence on LST. However, NDBI has a positive impact on LST, while Elevation has a negative effect on LST. Thus, the direction of influence of the two variables was confirmed to be different. NDWI, Aspect, and NDVI also affected LST, but the magnitude of impact was not as large as that of NDBI or Elevation.
