본 연구는 미술치료를 통해 꿈속 물 변화를 분석하여 자기실현 과정을 심층적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 2024년 3월부터 5월까지 11회에 걸쳐 진행된 자기 탐구 미술치료 프로그램을 통해 연구를 수행하였다. 연구자는 미술작업, 신체 표현, 글쓰기 등의 다양한 표현 방법을 활용하여 내면을 탐구하고, 이를 통해 꿈속 물 변화와 자기실현을 경험하였다. 미술치료를 통해 연구자는 죽음을 통한 변화와 성장, 생명의 근원, 내면의 정화, 삶을 향한 재탄생 4개의 주제가 도출되었다. 혼돈 속의 질서, 물결처럼 흐르는 나, 불안과 설렘의 소나타, 꿈속 나침반, 물방울, 자궁 그리고 촛불, 엄마 그리고 반딧불이, 고요한 바다 그리고 영혼의 반짝임, 씻겨 내리는 내면의 어둠, 빨래가 속삭이는 이야기, 흙과 물의 만남, 새로운 시작 등의 내면 변화를 경험하였다. 이 같은 내면 변화는 연구자의 자기 탐구, 창의성 발휘, 자기실현에 도움이 되었다. 본 연구는 초보 미술치료사의 꿈속 물 변화와 자기실현 과정에 대한 이해를 높이고, 미술치료 교육과 실무에 대한 지식을 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to deeply explore the self-actualization process by analyzing changes in water imagery from dreams through art therapy. The research was conducted through an 11-week self-exploration art therapy program from March to May 2024. The researcher used various methods of expression, including art creation, body expression, and writing to explore the inner self and experience the transformation of water dream and self-realization. Through art therapy, the researcher derived four themes: Transformation and Growth through Death, Origin of Life, Inner Purification, and Rebirth towards Life. The researcher experienced inner changes such as Order in Chaos, Flowing like Waves, Sonata of Anxiety and Excitement, Compass in Dreams, Water Drops, Womb and Candle, Mother and Fireflies, Quiet Sea and Sparkle of the Soul, Washing Away Inner Darkness, Whispering Laundry, Meeting of Soil and Water, and New Beginning. These inner changes helped the researcher in self-exploration, creativity, and self-realization. This study was expected to enhance understanding of the transformation of water dream and self-realization of the novice art therapist, and provide knowledge for art therapy education and practice. Based on these research results, the significance and limitations of the study were discussed.
