樓亭集景詩의 창작 동기와 樓亭의 공간적 특성―竹西樓, 息影亭, 七灘亭을 중심으로―

Abstract

The poems about scenery viewed from a pavilion(樓亭集景詩)and the spatial character of the pavilionChoi, Kyung-hwan*攀* Professor, The Division of Korean Language & Literature, Pusan University of Foreign Studies攀攀This paper is intended to look at the close relation between the creative motive of the poems about scenery viewed from a pavilion(樓亭集景詩) and the spatial character of the pavilion. For this purpose in this paper “Juk Seo pavilion eight poems(竹西樓八詠詩)”, “Sik Young pavilion twenty poems(息影亭二十詠詩)”, and “Chil Tan pavilion sixteen poems(七灘亭十六景詩)” are studied as the objects of research.The spatial character of Juk Seo pavilion(竹西樓) is marked as the place of scenic beauty. So, a long period, a great many of people visited the place to appreciate beautiful scenery. The poets who are proud of their own poetic ability among them read “Juk Seo pavilion eight poems(竹西樓八詠詩)” which former poets wrote in the pavilion, and then wrote the poems for the competition with them.The spatial character of Sik Young pavilion(息影亭) is marked as the place which a poet lived in for a long time and appreciated beautiful scenery around. So the poets, who visited the place to make friends with the owner of the pavilion, wrote “Sik Young pavilion twenty poems(息影亭二十詠詩)” as the activity of make friends with him.The spatial character of Chil Tan pavilion(七灘亭) is marked as the place which a family looked back upon the memory of his ancestor with outstanding achievements. So, in order to widely inform of the achievements, a descendant let a painter draw the sixteen landscapes of the pavilion around, and then visited the famous poets with the picture, and asked them for writing “Chil Tan pavilion sixteen poems(七灘亭十六景詩)”. They saw the picture and wrote the poems.
