論孔尙任《桃花扇》的悲劇與其內涵: 以孔尙任對南明歷史的感悟爲主

Abstract

Kong shangren lived in the Qing Dynasty when the society was developing steadily, but he paid much attention to the collapse of the Ming Dynasty. The Peach Blossom Fan, which is this typical works of Kong reflecting the truth of that period, indicates the author's personal feeling and indirect experience from fogies of the Ming Dynasty. Although a touching love story, it shocks the audience much more for the fate of those three important loyal personals than the true love. Even if the characters in this play could have found the Shangri-La out of political Pressure, they could not get rid of troubles coming from the current life and society. The sadness and confusion of the author can be sensed easily between the lines.
