장애인 흡연행동의 종단적 변화유형과 예측요인에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 장애인의 흡연행동이 시간의 흐름에 따라 다양하게 변화한다는 특성을 고려하여 어떠한 변화궤적 유형을 나타내는지를 살펴보고, 유형별 예측요인의 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국장애인고용패널조사 4차~8차까지 총 5개년의 자료를 활용하여 3,712명을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 장애인 흡연행동의 종단적 변화유형을 확인하기 위해서는 잠재계층성장분석(LCGA)을, 예측요인들의 영향력을 검증하기 위해서는 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 장애인 흡연행동의 종단적 변화유형은 간헐적 흡연지속집단, 비흡연집단, 흡연지속집단, 중도흡연감소집단, 금연시도 성공집단으로 구분되었다. 예측요인으로는 성별, 연령, 교육수준, 음주여부, 장애정도, 장애수용, 사회경제적 수준, 주택소유여부, 수급자유무, 차별이 유형에 따라 통계적으로 상이한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과에 따라 장애인의 금연을 촉진할 수 있는 구체적이고 차별화된 실천적・정책적 대응방안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the trajectories of smoking behavior for the people with disabilities and to identify the predictors. For this study, data were drawn from Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED). A total of 3,712 samples were used from the fourth to the eighth wave. Latent class growth model was conducted to explore the longitudinal change classes for the disabled, and the multinominal logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of the predictors. As a result, five classes were identified: Intermittent smoking group, non-smoking group, smoking group, moderate smoking reduction group, and Success group trying to quit smoking. Each group was found to be associated deferentially with sex, age, education level, drink, degree of disability, disability acceptance, socioeconomic status, home ownership, national basic livelihood security recipient status, and discrimination. Based on these results, this study suggested specific and differentiated practical and policy countermeasures to promote quitting of the disabled.
