「金縢」篇 “周公居東” 해석에 관한 一考

『尙書』 「金縢」편은 今文尙書에 속하지만, 文體의 평이함 등으로 인해 古來로 부터 僞作의 의심을 많이 받아왔다. 「금등」의 “弗辟”, “居東”, “罪人斯得”에 관한 諸家의 訓釋은 매우 다양해서 정론을 정하기가 쉽지 않고, 「금등」의 정확한 이해를 저해하는 요인이 되어 왔다. 「금등」과 관련 있는 『詩經‧豳風』의 「鴟鴞」, 「東山」, 「破斧」의 주석과 내용을 종합해보면, 「치효」와 「東山」은 周公이 “居東”할 때 지은 것으로 “征伐”과는 구분되며, “東征”이라는 詩語가 출현한 「破斧」는 “東征”이 완료된 후의 詩라는 것을 알 수 있다. 「빈풍」의 주석을 통해서 “居東”과 “東征”은 확실히 별개의 사건임을 알 수 있다. “居東”의 특정 지명에 관해서도 洛邑, 奄 등의 다수의 설이 존재한다. 일부 漢代의 문헌에 보이는 “楚”는 “彬”의 誤寫로서 “彬”은 “份”과 通하고, “份”은 곧 “邠(豳)”이다. 「금등」과 관련 있는 詩인 「鴟鴞」, 「東山」, 「破斧」 등은 「豳風」에 속해 있는 것도 우연한 것이 아니다. 또한 「豳風」의 “邠(豳)”땅은 周의 先王이 基業을 닦은 유서 깊은 곳이다.
Abstract
≪Shangshu‧Jinteng≫ belong to the present text. However, due to the style, it has received many suspicions of counterfeiting. There are various interpretations of scholars on "fubi弗辟", "judong居東" and "zuirenside罪人斯得" in ≪Jinteng≫. So it is not easy to come to a conclusion. This is also why it hinders the accurate understanding of ≪Jinteng≫. If we put together the interpretation and contents of "Chixiao鴟鴞", "Dongshan東山", "pofu破斧" related to ≪Jinteng≫, "Chixiao" and "Dongshan" were constructed when Zhougong’s "居東" and were not associated with "conquest". We can see that "pofu" with the word "east conquest東征" is a poet after the completion of the "conquest". Through the interpretation of the Book of Odes, we can see that "live in east居東" and "east conquest東征" are clearly distinguished. A clue to the specific place name of "live in east" appears in the Han dynasty literature, such as ≪Shiji≫ and ≪Lunheng≫. "Chu楚" is an error of "bin彬", "彬" is the same as "fen份", and "份" is "bin邠(豳)". It is not a coincidence that the poems "Chixiao", "Dongshan", and "Pofu" that are related to ≪Jinteng≫ belong to ≪binfeng豳風≫. In addition, "bin邠(豳)" land is also a historical place where Zhou's ancestors laid the foundations for the foundation.
