The Web Service of the 『Encyclopedia of Korean Folklore and Traditional Culture』is provided at present and it expands every year according to subject. What we focused the most on the Web Service construction is choosing the Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) for an effective expansion. Also, we secured the credibility of the contents through updating by periods and we served various stereoscopic multimedia and contents to deliver Knowledge information effectively. We are aiming for globalized web dictionary as we made English version web service. And we interworked Korean popular web search site, Naver to have easier access. It is necessary to have differentiated strategy for the Web Service Encyclopedia of Korean Folklore and Traditional Culture to settle down as a model of encyclopedia. Therefore, we will carry out various strategies to make it as a Web dictionary expands Knowledge information infinitely.
