This study suggests the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the quality control process in the development stage of the weapon system, by analyzing the importance of each step of the quality control process. First, this research reviews the quality control procedure and the critical success factors (CSF) of the quality control task in the development stage of the weapon system. It is followed by the introduction to the group of potential KPIs, based on the Input-Process-Output-Outcome (IPOO) model. To select the final set of KPIs form the group of potential KPIs, the expert interviews, as well as the screening process based on the SMART criteria, were conducted. Also, a thorough in-depth investigation into technical review stages and Quality Control Gates(QCG) was made with an aim to subdivide the development stage so that we introduce more sophisticated KPIs. Finally, the final set of KPIs is introduced by reflecting the importance weights which were assigned to the KPIs based on the Analytic Hierarchy Planning (AHP).
