초록
In this study, Ca1-xLaxTiO3 (CLT, x = 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2) was characterized as an anode material for solid oxide fuelcells. The single-phase Ca1-xLaxTiO3 powder was synthesized in a solid-state reaction via calcination at 1100 oC in bothoxidizing and reducing atmospheres. The total conductivity of Ca1-xLaxTiO3 synthesized in a reducing atmosphere was higherthan that of Ca1-xLaxTiO3 synthesized in an oxidizing atmosphere at the same composition due to an increase in the amountof Ti3+ ions related to charge carrier, based on X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis. The Ca1-xLaxTiO3 showedbetter tolerance to carbon deposition than Ni-YSZ, and the catalytic activity of the Ca1-xLaxTiO3 synthesized in an oxidizingatmosphere decreased with increasing La content. Of the Ca1-xLaxTiO3 synthesized in a reducing atmosphere, Ca0.85La0.15TiO3showed the best electrochemical performance.
