The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the phonological alternations in the voiceless stops /p/ and /k/ in Korean word final positions. They are too often replaced with [b] and [g], respectively when followed by empty morpheme. These alternations are apparent errors. These alternations are analyzed within a Maximum Entrophy model of Optimality Theory, which assigns the numeral weight to each constraint according to the importance of constraints. This theory can show how the nonoptimal output can be expected and reproduced successfully as the observed alternations by learning grammar. This research has been conducted by twenties and over sixties. Therefore this study show the aspects between in twenties and over sixties at the same time.
