전신 마취가 필요한 수술에서 필수적인 단계 중 하나는 기도 관리이다. 특히, 환자가 후두경추 유합술을 받은 경우에는 경추의 운동 제약으로 인해 기관내삽관 시 어려움이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 이러한 환자 에서의 기도 관리는 높은 숙련도를 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 어려운 기도 관리가 예상되는 환자를 대 상으로 기관내삽관을 수행하기 위한 대비책 및 위험 방지를 위해 각성하 경비 내시경 유도 하 기관내삽관 을 시행한 경험을 보고하고자 한다.
Abstract
Airway management is a critical component of surgeries requiring general anesthesia. Patients with a history of occipitocervical fusion pose unique challenges due to restricted cervical mobility, potentially leading to intubation difficulties. Consequently, airway management in such patients demands a high level of expertise. This study aims to report our experiences with awake bronchoscopic nasal intubation as a precautionary strategy for airway management in patients with anticipated airway difficulties and highlight risk-mitigation measures.
