전문(前文)에 주목한 <날개>의 재해석

Abstract

It seems that the preface in Lee Sang＇s short story can be a key word to the interpretation of the whole text. That is, if we read through the preface, we can figure out the meaning of the story. Therefore the preface shows us as following. First, the story suggests the author＇s own self-consciousness as an artist. Second, ‘Nalgae’, a new kind of short story, can be regarded as strange. Third, the short story shows us an ego＇s schizophrenia and its unification. Fifth, the short story suggest a will to improve the reality of the age. Being concerned with those meanings, we come to know the short story is not a confusing work, but a superior literary work with sociological and artistic dimension.
