Abstract

The article provides a general overview of the current Korean language curriculum in North Korea, as well as a general overview of the structure and system of elementary middle school Korean textbooks and the contents of the contents by unit. In particular, this study is a detailed analysis of the characteristics of the learning objectives, contents and methods, focusing on the units dealing with literary sanctions. The current North Korea revision curriculum of 2013 has made a big change in the era of Kim Jung-Eun, and it provides a very comprehensive and detailed presentation of directions and methods of teaching and learning, evaluation directions and methods, contents and principles of textbook writing. As a result, North Korean textbooks for elementary middle school students, which were newly developed, have also changed their direction to expand student participation and language performance. Especially, literary sanctions are widely used, and many works of foreign writers were surprisingly recorded. In addition, it is structured to acquire knowledge such as vocabulary and concepts and principles, and to learn to deepen the application. In the field of literature, the ideological education of loyalty to the fatherland and community and raising the awareness of labor is the primary educational objective. The fact that the three generations of Kim's family members have a lot of praise for the achievements and the wisdom are the characteristics inherited from the past While the new textbooks have somewhat reduced their ideological content. And it focuses on knowledge to learn basic concepts and principles of literature and integrates literary domain with the activities of other languages. In addition, it emphasizes presentation, creation, recitation, and performance, and makes it necessary to repeatedly accept basic works of art. In addition to this, children's literary works were also widely used.
