북한중악음악단체의 현황과 전망

Abstract

This essay is one of the papers which was presented at the symposium for “The Status and Prospects of North Korean Performing Arts” jointly held by the Society for Korean Historico-Musicology and the Korean National University of Arts on 26th Oct., 2001. The object of this paper is to give a bird's-eye view of central music companies in North Korea. This paper includes the following topics such as 1) The Present Condition of North Korean Music, 2) The Central Performing Arts Companies, 3) Prospects. The Central Performing Arts Companies consists of such companies as (1) The Mansudae Performing Arts Company (Mansudae Yesuldan 만수대예술단), (2) The P'ibada Musical Company (P'ibada Kagŭktan 피바다가극단), (3) The Orchestral Company of Korean People's Army (Chosŏn Inmin'gun Hyŏpchudan 조선인민군협주단), (4) The National Symphony Orchestra (Kungnip Kyohyang Aktan 국립교향악단), (5) The National Performing Arts Company (Kungnip Minjok Yesuldan 국립민족예술단), (6) The Film and Broadcasting Music Company (Yŏnghwa mit Pangsong Ŭmaktan 영화 및 방송음악단), (7) The Orchestral Company for Yun I-sang (Yun I-sang Kwanhyŏn Aktan 윤이상관현악단), (8) The Youth Orchestral Company (Ch'ŏngnyŏn Hyŏpchudan 청년협주단), (2) The Poch'ŏnbo Electoric Ensemble (Poch'ŏnbo Chŏnja Aktan 보천보전자악단) and Wang Chae-san Light Music Ensemble (Wang Chae-san Kyŏng Ŭmaktan 왕재단경음악단), (10) The Symphony Orchestra of Social Security Angency (Sahoe Anjŏnbu Hyŏpchudan 사회안전부협주단), The Orchestra of P'yŏngyang Music and Dance College (P'yŏngyang Ŭmak Muyong Taehak Kwanhyŏn Aktan 평양음악무용대학관현악단), The Musical Company of Mt. Kŭmgang (Kŭmgangsan Kagŭktan 금강산가극단).
