Abstract
The main builcling(Dae Ung ]eon : 대웅전) of ]ogye temple [조계사] in the main temple controlled perish directly by Korean Buddhism ]ogyejong(조계종), which is located in 44 Suseong-dong ]ongro-gu Seoul is made up of grandeur 7 front partitions and 4 side partitions. It is a wooden and tile-roofed building. There are few people in Korea who know its name had been Taegosa(태고사) before it was named ]ogyesa and it was made on the model of Bocheongyo Sipiljeon(보천교 십일전) in ]eong-eup( 정읍).
