The simplicity of Wu's approach for estimating fuzzy parameters of fuzzy random variables [H.-C.Wu: The fuzzy estimators of fuzzy parameters based on fuzzy random variables, European Journal of operational Research 146 (2003)101-114] is considered for estimating the fuzzy parameter in the sense of Kruse and Meyer [R.Kruse and M.D.Meyer: Statistics with vague data, Reidel Publishing Company, 1987]. By showing that the two kinds of fuzzy parameters are equivalent to each other, we present a simple fuzzy estimation approach for fuzzy parameters.
