It is proved that the discontinuity group of an arbitary finally continuous finite-demensional representation of a connected locally ocmpact group is commutative. Consequences for homomorphisms of connected locally compact groups are indicated.
Abstract
It is proved that the discontinuity group of an arbitary finally continuous finite-demensional representation of a connected locally ocmpact group is commutative. Consequences for homomorphisms of connected locally compact groups are indicated.
