In this note, we derive an explicit formula for the skew energy of a digraph in terms of residues of poles of certain rational function related to the skew-characteristic polynomial. We also compute the skew energy of a particular Cayley digraph.

In this note, we derive an explicit formula for the skew energy of a digraph in terms of residues of poles of certain rational function related to the skew-characteristic polynomial. We also compute the skew energy of a particular Cayley digraph.
