This paper studies the Jacobian varieties of hyperelliptic curves over finite fields. We describe the symmetric Newton polygons of the characteristic polynomials of the Frobenious endomorphism of Jacobian variety of hyperellitpic curve of genus g over finite fields.

Abstract

This paper studies the Jacobian varieties of hyperelliptic curves over finite fields. We describe the symmetric Newton polygons of the characteristic polynomials of the Frobenious endomorphism of Jacobian variety of hyperellitpic curve of genus g over finite fields.
