우리나라에서도 2000년대에 들어서면서 민간경비가 급속하게 성장함으로 인해 정부기능이 지속적으로 이양되고 있으며, 앞으로 민간경비의 영역은 넓어지리라고 예상된다. 그러나 민간경비산업의 양적 성장 못지않게 중요한 것이 질적 성장일 것이다. 민간경비가 국제적 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는, 민간경비근무자들이 전문가로서 활동 할 수 있도록 전문교육을 시키는 일일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 민간경비근무자의 교육훈련 실태를 분석해보고 바람직한 교육훈련 Program을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 개선된 교육훈련 프로그램에서는 한국의 교육훈련제도를 분석, 미국, 호주, 일본 등 선진국의 민간경비 교육훈련제도를 참고로 하여 현장업무에서 필요한 실무위주의 과목과 이론 과목을 접목하여, 일반신임 경비원 교육훈련은 13과목에 30~33시간을 제시하고, 특수경비원 교육훈련은 24과목에 95시간을 제시하였다. 이외에 민간경비교육훈련의 개선방향으로 경비협회부설 한국시큐리티 아카데미의 설립과 통일된 교재에 의한 체계적 교육훈련의 필요성, 1개 강의실 당 30~35인의 교육생 수용에 의한 교육훈련의 효율성 제고, 전문 시큐리티제도의 도입을 제안하였다.
Abstract
To obtain a international competitiveness for private security, the private officer should have professional training. This study has a purpose to present resonable training program by analysing private security officer training system. To present improved training program, the author analysed Korean security training system with considering of American's, Australia's and Japan's. In this study, the chapterⅠ is introduction, theoretical background is in chapterⅡ, chapterⅢ is training system in other countries, problem of current training program and its development is in the chapterⅣ, and conclusion is in chapterⅤ.
