초록
This paper is concentrated on the synthesis of harmonic and contrapunctal theory in 18-19th century which could be regarded as the origin of the Schenckerian analytical theory. After examining Rameau's and Fux's theory in general as the historical background of harmonic and contrapunctal theory, discussion on synthesis is divided into two sections. One is about contrapunctal theory which incorporated harmonic elements concentrating on that of Martini and Albrechtsberger and lesser theorists, and the other is about harmonic theory which incorporated contrapunctal elements with that of Kirnberger, Vogler, Sechter.
