본 연구의 목적은 성격유형에 따른 신체만족도와 신체이미지의 차이, 신체만족도가 신체이미지에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이이다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기지역 만 19세 이상의 성인 남녀 250명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 외향이 내향보다 신체만족도가 더 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 외모평가에서는 외향, 직관, 판단형의 외모평가가 더 높게 나타났다. 외모지향에서는 외향과 판단형에서 외모지향이 더 높게 나타났다. 건강평가에서는 외향과 감각형에서 건강평가가 더 높게 나타났다. 건강지향에서는 외향과 판단형에서 건강지향이 더 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 신체만족도가 신체이미지에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있었다. 지금까지 연구를 종합하여 보면, 성격유형에 따라서 신체만족도와 신체이미지는 다르게 나타나고 있었으며, 신체만족도는 신체이미지에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 신체만족도와신체이미지를 향상시키기 위해서는 개개인의 성격유형을 먼저 고려해야 함을 알수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between body satisfaction and body image according to personality types, and the effect of body satisfaction on body image. To this end, a study was conducted on 250 men and women aged 19 or older in Seoul and the Gyeonggi province. First, physical satisfaction was higher in extroverts than introverts. Second, in appearance evaluation, the appearance evaluation of extroverts, and intuition, and judgment types appeared higher. Appearance orientation was higher in extroverts and judgment types. Health evaluation was higher in the extroverts and sensory types and health orientation was higher in extroverts and judgment types. Third, body satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on body image. In the synthesis of the studies so far, according to the personality type, body satisfaction and body image were different, and body satisfaction had an effect on body image. It can be seen that in order to improve body satisfaction and body image, individual personality types must be considered.
